The Mission of Misericordia/Heart of Mercy is to support individuals with developmental disabilities in maximizing their level of independence and self-determination within an environment that fosters spirituality, dignity, respect and enhancement of quality of life. We promote development of natural family and community support, community awareness, education and advocacy.
Share Foundation - Rolling Prairie, IN
SHARE Foundation is a not-for-profit Christian organization serving the residential, vocational, and social needs of mentally retarded or other-abled adults. Our 185-acre community, Sharing Meadows, provides a tranquil place for other-abled adults to live, work, and relax in peace and dignity. There, the unique gifts of each individual are recognized and appreciated, as they are able to focus on what they are able to do.
Day Spring - Louisville, KYResidents are productive members of the Day Spring community and the larger Louisville Metro community. Everyone is involved in a meaningful day. Most residents work, volunteer and/or participate in a day program for at least twenty hours per week
Lamb's Farm - Libertyville, IL
Located in Libertyville, Illinois, Lambs Farm is a place that, most importantly, empowers an extraordinary group of more than 250 people with developmental disabilities to lead personally fulfilling lives. Uniquely, Lambs Farm is also a place where families gather to enjoy our many shops and attractions, where community groups hold meetings and picnics, where businesses have products made with care and where many others attend a wide variety of entertaining events.
